Research Associate in Organizational Security
Dave Foran's research focuses on organizational security issues in an environment where the boundaries between physical and information systems are increasingly indistinguishable. He served as a Logistics Officer in the Marine Corps working alongside Afghan National Security Forces, supported various federal government agencies conducting supply chain risk analyses, and currently works as a consultant for Red Sun Information Systems as a software engineer.
Dave received an M.A. in International Affairs from The George Washington University and an M.S. in Information Security and Assurance from Johnson and Wales University. In his spare time, he enjoys experimenting with open source software, reading about cybernetics, the philosophy of technology, and spending time with his wife, two cats, and family.
